hiya steve;
uncheck the “force JS in head” and optionally “also aggregate inline JS” options (test & possibly do additional config as per the troubleshooting tips in the FAQ) and you should be in the clear.
happy speed-hacking!

I’m having the exact same issue.
No matter what I do I can’t get this one to go away and it’s my only red on mobile. 🙁
Any other thoughts on this one?

lol…I’m a moron.
Here’s an example:
http://ck1.ca/twin-casement-window/
The entire domain is only for AdWords landing pages so as an overall site it doesn’t make any sense.
well, your problem is render-blocking CSS, not JS, so go for either ‘inline all CSS’ (easy) or ‘inline and defer CSS’ (more difficult, but better). there’s more info in the FAQ on that topic.

So, still have an issue with this.
My css is (I guess) to large for the Critical Path CSS Generator (I use Divi – don’t hate). 🙂
Any other ideas on how to generate it?
well, there’s Jonas’s commercial offering at criticalcss.com or alternatively there’s tthis bookmarklet for chrome.
