Repair table??

    I have a lot of trash in my wp_postmeta table and I am now seeing some strange errors when trying to Edit/Save any blog post that has already been published. When investigating, I noticed a lot of trash left over from plugins I have deactivated and deleted. Is this plugin capable of cleaning and/or repairing the wp_postmeta table? I am not a database expert and so the errors may not be actually related to the database, but the plugin developer for seopress suggested that it may be due to database issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Been trying to solve this for weeks now.

    Unfortunately, there’s no magic “repair button” that can automatically fix any database issue, but the plugin is designed to help you clean and optimize your database. If the issue is related to unused or orphaned post meta, you can safely remove them using Database Cleaner.

    The plugin does its best to detect what’s no longer in use, but final decisions are up to the user — so if you’re unsure, always make sure to have a reliable backup of your site before making any changes. That way, you can revert to a safe state if needed.
