Yes, I checked the same with rtmedia and BuddyPress enabled. Repeated single activity is caused by the rtmedia privacy options.
If enabled, the activity repeats itself in the single activity page.
Please let me know the solution for this.

We tried to debug but unfortunately not able to reproduce this issue.
It could be a conflict with a third party plugin/theme. Please deactivate all plugins except BuddyPress, rtMedia and install and activate any default WordPress theme. Please check if you still face the same issue.
Its a request please try the above again and let us know if issue still exists.
