Repeated slug in same url

    I am using permanent slug /blog/ in posts permalink custom structure, but what is happening now, it generate multiple in url like : /blog/blogblogpage-title.
    This is repeated many time and i am frustrated by this error and changing permalinks again and again.
    Any help is much appreciated.

    How long you are facing this issue? Have you added any new plugin?

    Which version of the plugin you are using?

    Hi Sami,

    I experience the same problem. When first customizing one of my URLs, everything seems to be fine, but then – suddenly, after some time or after changes (I haven’t yet figured out what action causes the problem – or whether it is an action at all or just happens randomly) – something weird happens to the URL. Somehow some parts of the URL are repeated. It could be something like this:

    Original URL: http://www.my-website.com/products/bottles/green-bottle
    Manually customized URL (using this plugin): http://www.my-website.com/green-bottle
    Weird, changed URL: http://www.my-website.com/products/productsproductsbottles/green-bottle

    I installed the latest version (1.1) and thought the problem was solved, but no. Now it has happened again to some URLs I customized earlier today, AFTER the update.

    I use Yoast SEO and also experience some problems with their “short title” solution – sometimes it changes back to the original URL. Maybe these two problems are connected.

    I really hope you can solve this! Otherwise I will have to uninstall the plugin, because it causes my website to have a lot of broken links…

    I can only help when the scenario is cleared and i am able to generated/reproduce the issue on my end.

    If you are facing this issue so, can you confirm that whether it happens for all the URL and Post types or for some.

    Can you provide some use case which help me to produce this issue?

    As you point the issue with yoast so, can you disable the yoast plugin and check that whether it solves the issue or not?

    @ermayankrajput95 @jwvtv Does you guys still facing the issues with plugin or does it resolves.

    I have found some issues with Yoast SEO Plugin and have fixed it out in the earlier version.

    So, my suggestion is to update the plugin on your site and test your use case and provide your feedback on it.
