    Sorry, this is probably a silly newbie question.

    I am trying to create a repeating event on the last sunday of every month.

    However, I only seem to have the option for the 3rd Monday of every month. How can I change this?

    The text “3rd Monday of every month” is sample text, to differentiate that option from the ‘month by date’ option. The actual recurring pattern is generated based on the event’s start date. If the first date is the last Sunday, it’ll use that.

    You will want to be aware that the calculations only count forward; so what you actually need is to set up an event for the 5th Sunday of each month, then check the option to move it a week earlier if there is no 5th week in a given month.
