    Hi,

    We have multiple activities available for booking in 1-hour time slots throughout the day, limit of 1 activity per user. The schedule repeats indefinitely with different weekday and weekend hours.

    To get around the end date in the repetition settings, setting a future date works. However, I’m not sure how to handle the individual time slots.

    If I create hourly events for each activity and add them the calendar (resulting in many events), can I make exceptions as in remove some hourly events on certain days in the repeating schedule?

    The Display Pack add-on and its waterfall method would be necessary for our situation, that leaves the scheduling… Any ideas?

    Hello, I am not sure to understand the question, if I understand correctly, you would like to repeat a 1-hour event everyday except on certain dates?

    In that case, create the event, go to its settings > Repetition tab > set the “Repetition Frequency” to “Daily”. Further down in the same dialog, you will be able to add “Exceptions”: add the dates you don’t want the event to appear. The event will be repeated everyday except on the selected dates.

    Thank you for the quick reply.

    I had noticed the exceptions field when setting up my events, however manually entering all weekend dates indefinitely is not really manageable.

    We need the ability to set a repeating fixed schedule with different hours on some days. For example, one or more activities scheduled:
    Mon – Fri 10am – 5pm
    Sat – Sun 12pm – 6pm

    It looks like your plugin is not suited for this type of recurring event schedule, thanks for your time.

    No problem,
    If it can help, if you don’t want to repeat your events during the weekends, you can use the “Weekly” repetition instead of “Daily”.

    Thanks, that would work for handling different weekly events, however with so many 1-hour time slots it would be less than ideal.
