Replace Dashboard with Welcome page

Hi WPs,
I’ve got this subscription wp site, where users sign in, and the first thing I want to show them, when they sign in, is a welcome page, which congratulates them and shows them a Getting started video. How do I replace the Dashboard with another page?

I’ve looked into redirecting the users to a “welcome” page that I created, this works fine, but I still want the admin menu shown … does this make sense?
