Replace Google reCaptcha with Cloudflare Turnstile

    Hey guys, is there any way you can provide the option to use Cloudflare Turnstile instead of Google reCaptcha with your plugin? Google reCaptcha is antiquated!

    Cloudflare Turnstile is easy to set up, utilizes less code, and has minimal impact on website performance.

    Also, is there any way you guys can develop a hook so other developers can tie into your plugin to provide the requested feature? Click here for more details.

    Specifically, a plugin developer needs the following from you:

    We need a hook to add custom fields/content to the form, ideally before the submit button, and a hook to validate the submission of the form when clicking submit, before it is processed/submitted.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for checking in!

    We currently do not offer integration with Cloudflare Turnstile for built-in MailPoet subscription forms, but you may share this idea to this feedback board.

    You should still be able to utilize this functionality Cloudflare Turnstile for third-party forms/contact forms if it integrates with WordPress or if the third-party contact form plugin accepts the integration.

    Yes, fully aware that your plugin does not integrate Cloudflare Turnstile. Several users have requested this feature since April 2023. So far, no action taken.

    Further, if you read our initial above request, third-party plugin developers need the noted info (i.e., hooks) so they can integrate Cloudflare Turnstile into your plugin.

    Can you please share this with your developers for assistance? It shouldn’t take long to provide the requested hooks.

    I understand that the integration of Cloudflare Turnstile is a feature you, and other users, have been actively seeking. We are fully aware of the requests on our feedback forums, and we offer our sincerest apologies for any inconveniences caused by the delay in its implementation.

    I want you to know that every suggestion and request submitted by customers like you is essential to us. I assure you that your request for Cloudflare Turnstile Integration has been received and logged. The implementation of new features such as this is largely guided by the demands and needs of our users and thus the suggestions you’ve made have significant worth to us.

    At the moment, our developmental roadmap may not cater immediately to this feature, likely due to several other ongoing developments. However, I’m going to revert your request to our team who coordinate feature requests for them to give this yet another review.

    Furthermore, you mentioned that third-party developers need specific hooks to integrate Cloudflare Turnstile into our plugin. While I’m not certain if we have the exact hooks you need, we do have a list of existing hooks and actions available here. Please refer to this guide and see if these can be of any use to your developers.
