Replace special characters in URL

    Hello, I currently have a website that urls are created by removing special characters (example /tìo/ is created as /to/ ) what I need is for the special character to be replaced by another without a tilde

    “tìo” replaced by “tio”

    Does simply modifying your permalinks could help you ?
