I love this plugin.

That said, is it possible to replace the background image on hover? I mean like use background url instead of background color.

Perhaps pro version will include this function built in?

Which filter do we use for that exactly?

Hi.

There is no option for replacing images. This is also not planned for the PRO version of the plugin.

You can make your own “Items Style” and add this feature using JS. But it is required coding knowledge https://visualportfolio.co/documentation/developers/wordpress-filters/ (vpf_extend_items_styles)
