Replacing Login Menu Item

When the user is logged in the “Login” item in the menu disappears. While this makes sense, my menu is now a bit unbalanced. I would like to be able to replace the “Login” item with another item that only shows when the user is logged in. Is there a way of doing this?

Worst case scenario I’d prefer to just keep the login item in the menu even if the user is logged in.
