• Hi

I am using cf7 on our website but we have some people who do not have an email address or like to leave a phone number so I have been using a text area where they can leave either an email or phone number. This is generally not a problem but when we receive an email we have to copy their email if they give it and create a new email when replying rather than clicking reply to. Mistakes can be made though and my colleagues and myself have often clicked reply only to have the email come back.

So I decided I would have to use a phone number and email field and setup the reply to function, but now I have another problem, to use the reply to function the email field has to be required and as mentioned some of our volunteers do not have an email address. The only thing I can think of is to say “use [email protected] if you do not have an email address” or similar but that is a bit messy, is there a way I can get it to work with the email field being not required? or is there anything I can change in the CSS to make something like “N/A” typed into the field bypass the requirement?

    Regards
