When I make a change to a post, resend the new post to Telegram, the Telegram post does not change. When clicking on the Telegram link it goes to the new post on our website. I deleted the original post on Telegram before submitting the new post. I put the post in Draft mode, then tried again. It’s cached somewhere. What you think. You can compare that in a t-shirt ad I modified on our Telegram channel #BitcoinJustUseIt

    Thanks

  • The Plugin does not make use of cache. It directly fetches the data from save_post hook.
What are the changes you make in a post? Are those changes meant to be the part of the Message Template?

The changes are text. No they are not part of the template. I will deleted the post and redo it to see is it changes.

    Did you solve the issue?

No, what I found was if a WP Post was modified after it was sent to the Telegram Channel, the original Post would reappear on Telegram. Now Im thinking this is a WP issue, not your plugin. Your plugin works as described. Thanks for the followup

If in WPTelegram Settings, you have set “When to send?” to “Updating an existing post”, then the intended behaviour is that the post will be resent to Telegram instead of editing the already sent post in the channel.
