A couple of questions…
1. Have you gone into the settings and, even if you haven’t changed the defaults, saved the settings?
2. Do you have posts that are old enough to qualify for republishing based on the settings you’ve saved?
I have gone into setting and saved them. Here they are:
24 hours
Upto 4 hours
30 days
1st Position
Yes
No
I do omit some of the categories. Is it an “and” or “or”? For example: if I omit Category A but not Category B and the post is categorized in both, will it pull the post to be republished or will it omit it?

If a post is in 2 categories and one is excluded, the post won’t be republished since it will meet the criteria for being excluded.
Also, is it safe to assume that you have posts that are at least 30 days old in one of the non-excluded categories?
I have posts from 2013 under one category and the plugin is not reposting them. Any advice? It’s been a few days since I installed the plugin.
@christopher: There’s no “trick” to the plugin. It generally just works once the settings are saved. There may be a conflict with another plugin, but you’d need to turn on debugging to see that kind of information.
I’m happy to help you continue to figure things out if you like, but please open a new thread rather than jumping onto someone else’s.
