• I write a post on Saturday. In that post I use some tags.
    For instance:

blah blah blah blah blah blah
    < —– grow —– >
blee blee blee blee blee blee
    < —– grow —– >
bloo bloo bloo bloo bloo bloo

Now…I future post it for Monday, but on Monday all the visitor sees is the ‘blah’, but when they look on Tuesday, they also see the ‘blee’ and then for wednesday it’s ‘bloo’… see what I mean ?

So 1 post gets larger or better still, one page gets larger. Sort of like posting to the future but doing so inside the same post.

    Possible ?

That would be cool. something like this:

    <!– Grow 05/21/05 –>
    Podz requested a grow plugin!
    <!– Grow 05/22/05 –>
    Plugin is alive!

Heh. I think It would be cool to have this plugin, but also, might be hard to code.

not hard, i already made one for you :p

you can get it here. Anyway, what’s the real purpose of this kind of plugin? I only made it for fun since podz want it, but i can’t see the point of this plugin 😐

ps: to use it, use <!–grow mm/dd/yy–>, just like what XeroCool already posted above. Note that ‘grow’ is case-sensitive, so it must be in lowercase.

Well, actually I can think of various uses for it: to update a particular subject without the need to add either comments or new posts; as a sort of “online treasure hunt” – for any number of reasons; as a game-oriented posting mechanism (for those of us into text-based RPGs something like this would be invaluable on occasion)….

    Thanks. I didn’t know I needed it….
