I’m interested in paid access to ads. I did everything according to the instruction (installed the extension, installed the woo, connected everything and set up by video). As a result, each ad had an inscription: “request access” and a payment button in popup.

    I have two questions:
    1. All information of the ad is visible even before payment in the “request access to the ad”. That is, why would a person pay for information if all the information is already visible in the ad?
    2. Is it possible to make the attributes of the ad appear only after payment in the popup “request access”?

In advance, thank you very much.

If you mean the Claim Listings extension it allows selling access to editing the listing, not to viewing the listing details, so basically it allows someone to become a listing owner for a fee (this way of monetization is used by business directories like Yelp, Foursquare or Zomato). If you want to sell access to viewing listing details you can use this extension instead https://hivepress.io/extensions/memberships/

Cool. Thank you very much for your reply. Yes, this extension solves my problem. The only question is it can be done by piece (judging by your video access opens for a certain period of time).

I need to make sure that, for example, the user clicks “open phone number”, then the user pays “membership” and they only have the attributes of one ad visible, not all. So it’s possible to do in this expansion?

Yes, you can add different membership plans that will restrict different listing attributes, and limit access in time.

Please note that it will give access to all listings, not just the selected one (there’s no such feature yet).
