    Hello,

I have recently migrated my VPS from a location in Singapore to the Netherlands. After this migration, I am encountering a persistent error with the Google Site Kit plugin on my WordPress site. The error message displayed is:

“The request to the authentication proxy has failed with an error: request_failed.”

I have already reset the Site Kit plugin and ensured that the server time and timezone are correctly set. Additionally, I confirmed that the VPS can connect properly to Google’s API endpoints via curl commands. My firewall rules allow outbound HTTPS traffic. I also changed my WordPress address from https://mysite.site to https://www.mysite.site.

Despite these checks, the error persists, and Site Kit fails to authenticate properly.

Could you please assist me with troubleshooting this error? If there are any known issues related to IP address changes after server migration or specific requirements for Google API access from new locations, I would appreciate your guidance on how to resolve this.

    Thank you.
