Hi @schecteracademicservices,
Sure! I’ll add it in the next release.
Actually, 410 Gone was previously selectable in this plugin but it was removed at 3.0.0 because I couldn’t have any idea about how to use it.
So I’d appreciate you if you let me know why you want it.
Thanks.
Sure:
“410 Gone
Indicates that the resource requested is no longer available and will not be available again. This should be used when a resource has been intentionally removed and the resource should be purged. Upon receiving a 410 status code, the client should not request the resource in the future.”
TO a hacker/bot:
403 says “bad password, try another password”
404 says “not here now, try again later”
410 says “you are wasting your own time”
lol
see also:

Actualy its not posible to see what happens witg det different codes, I use:
307, temporary Redirect and the page:
http://vedsegaard.dk/love2.html
But a way to test it in some kind of what you see, is what hackers get, would be cool.
Hi,
Thank you guys for your informations.
410 says “you are wasting your own time”
Yeah, this is really cool for the message to hackers!
