Request For Customized Subscription Feature

I installed this plugin, but unlike “Category Subscription”, it does not have “customized Subscription”. “Category Subscription” allows each user to subscribe to their own desired categories. The users can also define the desired interval for receiving emails from each category. For example they go to their profile and select to receive “Important News” immediately, but “entertainment News” weekly. Unfortunately, that plugin has not been updated for 4 years, so it has compatibility issues. I really like to have such a feature.
