Request for support for multisite with sub directories

It would be great if I could have default settings defined in the network admin panel instead of having to define/maintain them on every sub site which share the same config (when it differs from the default).
It seems to work that the if the user press ok on one of the sub sites, then that affects all subsites, which is great in my case, so far, but I assume if you have different settings/text for sub sites, then you want to make it possible to force the user to see+accept on different subsites.
