    Hi WebToffee team, ⭐️ 🙂

I’m a developer working with your Related Products for WooCommerce plugin, and I’m reaching out because I’ve been struggling to implement proper WCFM Multivendor support. While I’ve made some attempts to modify the plugin to work with WCFM stores, I’m running into some issues that I think would be better handled at the plugin level.

    Here’s what I’ve tried:

    1. Added store_id parameter to the shortcode
    2. Modified the product queries to filter by WCFM vendor
    3. Added store-specific related products filtering
    4. Implemented store ID detection from various contexts

Despite these changes, I’m still seeing some inconsistencies:

    • Sometimes related products from other stores still appear
    • Store filtering doesn’t work consistently across different WCFM templates
    • The integration feels a bit hacky and might break with future updates

Given that WCFM is one of the most popular multivendor solutions for WooCommerce, I think adding proper WCFM support would be a great addition to your plugin. It would help many store owners who want to show related products specific to each vendor’s store.

Would you consider adding official WCFM support in a future update? I’d be happy to share my implementation attempts if that would help.

Thanks for your time and for creating such a useful plugin!

    Best regards,
    benvolio

    Hi @benvolio,

Thank you for reaching out and for sharing the detailed context of your implementation.

At the moment, the Related Products for WooCommerce plugin does not officially support WCFM Multivendor, and compatibility with multivendor solutions like WCFM is not built into the plugin by default.

That said, we appreciate you highlighting this use case. Adding support for WCFM is a valuable suggestion, and we’ll certainly note this as feedback and consider it for future improvements to the plugin.

If you’d like to share any part of your current implementation or the challenges you’re facing, feel free to do so—it may help inform our development considerations going forward.

Thanks again for your input and for using our plugin.
