Hello,
Thank you for the suggestions. About moment.js, I am curious, why would you include it only if such an option is set?
Regarding the creation of a widget template in the theme, what did you mean by that? I could open a public method that returns only the tweets and you output them accordingly?
I am planning a major update in Twitget 4.0, which is currently in progress (and might take a while because I have other projects to finish) and would love to hear any other suggestions.
Cheers.
Hey,
There’s no point in loading moment.js if no relative time is needed.
As for the templates: let developers create widget-tweets.php (or any other name) in theme and write similar code to the one in the ouput field. If the plugin detects the template, it should use it instead.
I see you’re moving to offering a Pro version. That’s your choice of course, but please do not include any nags, alerts or notifications in the admin area.

The free version will always exist without nags and alerts and will live on donations only (albeit small ones 🙂 ).
The pro version would merely offer multisite support, the chance to add more accounts, creating custom twitter feeds based on criteria (hashtags, mentions etc.), media support and twitter comments in posts.
For version 4.0 the free version will receive a code refactoring upgrade and some minor tweaks. Could you add me on skype to discuss the template suggestion?
Cheers.
