[request] "Quick Import" of WP Plugins

I request a very simple Quick Upload box at the bottom of the Plugins list page.

Currently users have to click “Add New” then click “Upload Plugin”. After a plugin is uploaded they have to repeat the process again to upload another. This can be time-consuming when there are several plugins to install for a new site. Handling a Quick Upload on the Plugins listing page would save some clicks as well as some page-load time.

However, a feature is only valuable if there is a high demand for it – I may be the only one. So feel free to post here if you feel this is a good idea, and if not I’d love to hear counter-arguments.

EDIT: I see in another feedback/requests thread that this request should be posted to https://core.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/ – I will do just that, though there’s no way to delete this post so I’ll leave it here to gather discussion 😉

EDIT 2: That ticket thread is for bug reporting, not feature requests. Perhaps the person who linked that page was mistaken on the other post. So my original post still stands. Huzzah!
