    Hey dear developer,
Hope you are doing well and I wish you very Happy New Year 2017 in advance. ๐Ÿ™‚

As I activated this plugin, website page speed got affected badly. At the same moment, Dashboard works fine. My site went down for couples of hours in a day. While checking issues, I switched to Default WordPress theme and deactivated all plugins except AICP.

    Server response time
    Before activation: 0.41 second
After Activation: White page and request Time out error apporixmately within 60 seconds.
    (Same at Pingdom & PageInsight)

    Running on
    WordPress PHP 7.02
    MySql 5.6
    Apache 2.4
    NGINX LATEST

Anyway, I greatly appreciate your efforts for this plugin. The UI of this plugin is very user-friendly, and I really liked the video tutorial. It was very helpful for me to understand how to get started with this plugin.

Please let me know your thoughts on this query. Thanks in advance

    Sincerely,
    Gulshan

This is very weired because this plugin does not used any heavy scripting on the front end of the site. It barely uses a single minified js file. Also no one else has reported any kid of issues like this. I think there is something else that might be causing this issue. You can check that this plugin barely does anything on the front end. All magic happeneds on the back end. Also I really do not know what you mean by using both apache and nginx.

BTW I’ve developed and tested this plugin on a barebone shared server with a default wordpress theme and it worked like a charm. I will recommend you to try it out on different hosting environment. This plugin has barely anything to slow down your front end.

    Thanks for the prompt response.

Really, it’s wired because one click for activation of a single plugin and site slow process started. I am so curious to give one more try on another server. I hope, there it should work.

    Sincerely,
    Gulshan

Yes, please try it out. Because as I said this is a very light weight plugin which does almost nothing at the front end and in the backend it does some basic database operations. There is nothing which cannot be handelled by a server. If your server cannot handle these basic database operations, then what’s it is gonna do for other resource intensive plugins like EWWW where there are a lot of database operations.

Also you should ask your host for an explanation about why your site is getting slower.

    Hello again,

I tested again this plugin at another web hosting.
    Please have a look.

    Thanks

    Sincerely,

Can you send me the gtmetrix link of before and after?

Also as I said earliar, you should ask your host to check server log why it is taking so long. If any error is happening it will show up in server log.

I literally have no idea why this is happening on your server. The only possible explanation could be that your server is blocking API calls which is taking so long execution time. Because when you load the page, there is no database operations happing. Just a API call and a few php calculations, none of which are resource intensive.

Also as I don’t have access to the site while it is low it is really hard to see what’s happening here. But I’m pretty sure it is some sever level config issues. Please contact your host and ask them why it is happening. If they are a good host they will check their logs and tell you.
