request timing out

Hi,

wp-admin dashboard widget is trying to load icon https://twemoji.maxcdn.com/v/14.0.2/1f510.svg which is timing out and this is slowing down whole wp-admin. Is there a way to remove those icons and requests to 3rd party CDNs and include maybe that icon in plugin?

@wpgenie2 thanks for sharing the details.

To clarify we are using simple standard emojis in our code (NO DIRECT LINKS)

Seems like there is some extension in your installation which is converting these emojis with the shared maxCDN link (in the frontend which you are view via inspector tool).

You’re right, extension was used to disable emojis.
