Hey there,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Our development team is actively investigating the warning message some users are seeing during the StellarPay Stripe onboarding process regarding domain certificate accessibility.
At this stage, the warning appears to be a false alarm in most cases. While we’re working on refining the trigger for this message and aligning it with the most up-to-date requirements from Stripe, here are a few quick checks that may help confirm if everything is working as expected:
- First, check if Apple Pay or Google Pay are displaying on the checkout page (if you have them enabled).
- Then, try visiting this URL on your site:
{yourdomain.com}/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association
It should return a JSON-like or plain-text blob of seemingly random characters and numbers that’s the Apple Pay domain verification file.
We’ll be making updates to prevent this from triggering unnecessarily and to accommodate any changes from Stripe as they officially deprecate this domain verification requirement.
Appreciate your patience as we smooth this out. Let me know if you’d like help confirming any of the above steps!
Best,
Kevin
