Hi @rrestani,
You’ll want to check the File Download Method chosen at WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Downloadable Products.
Normally, the Redirect only method allows users to download the file if they have a link to it even if not logged in. So, you might consider switching to either of the other two options, as explained in the digital downloads documentation.
Note: Download links from cloud storage providers, e.g. Google Drive, might only work with the Redirect Only download method.
I hope this helps.
Thanks.
I have WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Downloadable Products. set to force download.

Hey there!
To confirm, the files you are using are hosted on your site, not an external site?
Can you share an example URL for a file you’re using for a product? I’d recommend creating a product with a file you don’t mind if people download.
Was that what you needed?
Hi @rrestani,
Just to be clear, this subdomain is used to host the files and that’s separate from the WooCommerce store. Is that right?
If so then that won’t work. Files hosted outside of the actual WordPress site aren’t able to be protected. Any external files are severed via redirect regardless of the method selected.
A way around that is to use something like the Amazon S3 extension. It lets you host downloadable files on Amazon’s S3 service and sever secure links that expire.
