    Hi,

I’m not sure if this is a bug or not – but there appears to be a bug with the “Required” checkbox for fields. I’m using the “Post Type (Extended)”. The fields are simple plain text, with a couple lists.

When I check the “Required” option, there are some issues:

    • If clicking “Update/Publish”, the post will update in Gutenberg, however the PODS portion will not. ie) If I change some text in the post content itself, it shows the change but any POD fields do not.
    • Secondly, any item set to “Required” but not filled out…. (left default/blank), … allows the post to still save/update but no changes show on the front end for ANY POD field edits, not just the one that was left blank/required. ie) If I edit a few fields that do not have the “required” box and leave the field that DOES have “required” blank….none of them will show as updated.

I thought it was supposed to prevent the post from being published/edited if this is checked? It seems like the solution is to prevent the post from being updated or published, unless required items are filled in?

    Hi @choomaster

Can you confirm this happening with only Pods active and updated to the latest version?

If so, please create a full bug report and I’ll make sure to assign the issue accordingly!

    Cheers, Jory
