Hi,
Maybe a certain field (that is not in the form) is set to be required in your MailChimp.com settings?
Navigate to the Lists page.
Click the drop-down menu next to the list you want to work with, and choose Settings.
On the Settings page, click List fields and *|MERGE|* tags.
Remove the tick in the checkbox that reads “required”.
Let us know if this solves the problem.

Please share your website URL with us so we can test the form.

That does not seem to be a form generated by our plugin.
Please install https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/ and use the sortcode to display the form where you want.
I’m having a similar issue.
My address field has always been required. But recently if required it will not let the user submit the form.
Can anyone help?
