I have the same problem with all fields.
Tried it with all other plugins disabled.
Seems also be the case with the Selectie field and additional checkbox. Probably with other fields to.

I have the similar problem with new version of plugin.
I can’t check required checkbox on text field. And it doesn’t happen once it was made required ( as at klatovak ).
I thought it could be because I already have some posts that are using this field and are empty. But when I created completely new CFS group with one text field that should be required and I saved the process, text field is made, but the checkbox isn’t checked.
I need to state that all other functions are working – changing label or name, adding new field, deleting fields, etc.
I’m having a similar issue where the required field check won’t stay checked. Additionally, the ‘Hide the content editor’ checkbox is behaving the same way.

This *should* be fixed in the latest version (2.5.6 as of writing).
It’s working on multiple dev environments here 🙂
