Resend a post

Hi,
I am using this great plugin for a client. They only send mails for certain categories of posts and pages. Sometimes they forget to check the right category before publishing. It looks like publishing again with the right category checked does not generate a mail send out. Is this working as designed? Any workarounds?

Same question for not unchecking ‘Notification Override’ (which is for safety-reasons checked by default) before first time publishing.
