Can you please take a test mail to check mail function is working fine on your site, you can use “WP SMTP” mail.
If your custom form support to display error message on registration it will automatically display error message, we used default hook user_register to check verification.

when i register for the first time, i receive a mail but the problem when i try to resend email of verification.

you can test now i activate the pluguin. the email verification not send and resend 🙁
the problem when i try to resend the activation mail i recevied the mail of new user confirmed

we use registration_errors default WordPress filter hook for displaying errors on registration, please contact your registration form developer to implement it.

I am getting the same thing – upon clicking “resend verification” I get a “new user confirmed” email instead with no verification link….
