• Okay this maybe confusing – I have the Site Running on two different Sites – Same ISSUE

    1. User Submits Reservation
    2. We Approve Reservation
    3. User Cancels
    4. We go and Deny Request to Cancel (Wish it was a delete option)
    5. Time Says Unavailable even after we Denied REQUEST after Approving

    This Only Happens if you APPROVE then DENY

    WorkAround – If We go Back and EDIT the reservation and CHANGE to PENDING , then DENY IT – The time is made back Available

    Tested on 3 browsers, 3 computers, 3 networks 2 Different WP installs.

  • Interesting and good catch! I’ll take a look and replicate and see if I can find what’s causing this.

    Let me make sure I am understanding things.

    I just created an event, saw it on the calendar while it was Pending.

    I went in and approved it.

    I then did a search, found it (approved), checked it and changed it to Denied. It no longer shows up on the hours list in the calendar on that date.

    Am I doing this the same way that you are?

    When I deny it after approving it. If I go back to that room and try to pick the Hrs for that day it Says Unavailable —— Even though I DENIED it.

    If I deny it from the START , everything works fine. It only happens if I APPROVE, then DENY – Then go back and try to BOOK the SAME room for the same HRS, it Says UNAVAILABLE

    Am I doing this the same way that you are?

    My workflow doesn’t act the same way. I can’t recreate this bug, unfortunately so it’s hard to fix. I’m visually going through my steps to make sure we’re looking at the same things.

    Step 1: New ticket is in.
    Step 2: Times show on hours list.
    Step 3: Accept the reservation.
    Step 3a: (Times are still shown on the list)
    Step 4: Deny the now approved reqeust (both on the list page and view page were tried)
    Step 5: Hours are free.

    Can you let me know what version of Book a Room, and PHP you are using?

    I have not updated for when I do it usually wipe out my Custom changes – Like Branch to Buildings –

    Yes My times still say Unavailable even if I deny – I have to Switch to PENDING – Accept and then DENY for the SLOT to go back Free or OPEN I thought my 6 am to 1159 pm was causing a LOOP

    I understand. I just can recreate the error.

    Can you try one and screenshot the Denied list with that ticket, and then the date on the request form where it still shows in the hours?

    Just can’t, I meant.

    Are you on multisite? Can you back up and try it with the latest updated version. If it’s an official update, it shouldn’t wipe any data, that’s weird also.

    I changed all the DISPLAY pages to say Buildings instead of Branches… It wipes out those changes. I will create another site on the same server with the latest update to see…
