• I am not sure if this issue has been posted here before but the option on “Reset count” seems to work on my site for a period of time but then it stops working. The option that I use here is to run daily the clear dalily tables. But still the top-ten counter summeizes the pageviews over a period of time making the top10 most read posts allways the same instead of giving me the daily top-10 post read.

    Hi,

I’m not clear as to what the problem is.
Could you please tell me step wise how I can reproduce the issu?

    Hi

I maybe have not been clear in the orginal post 🙂 sorry.

When I set in the maintenance settings that the count should reset once a day (@01:00) I seems to work for a while but then it starts to fail on the cleaning job and the top10 posts stay the same from day to day. Then I will have to go into the module and manually reset the count for the posts.

When you notice that it has stopped working, does it show you the message in green?

“The cron job has been scheduled. Maintenance will run daily”

Do you have some kind of a cron manager plugin installed that allows you to check which crons are scheduled?

Also, is there a reason you’re scheduling the cleaning daily? This empties the daily table but doesn’t empty the overall count database.
