Hi, I appear to be having the same issue. My footnotes starts at 12 and then I have two sets of the same footnotes appearing at the bottom of the page:
http://masud.co.uk/dev/shaykh-murabtal-haajs-fatwa-on-following-one-of-the-four-accepted-madhhabs/ the first should be 1 and the last should be 11Thanks
Yeah and in both sites, we have another issue: the links don’t work correctly, always is the same link (simply the url of the post).
Hi Pablo Laguna and majhul,
we have introduced a new WordPress hooks to look for Footnotes short codes in the Post object after collecting it from the WordPress database. This hook seems to be necessary for Custom Post types.
In your case, this new Hooks counts the Footnotes twice as seen in the Reference Container.
`1., 4., xxxxxxxx
2., 5., xxxxxxxx
3., 6., xxxxxxxxx’Therefore, the hyperlink between the Footnote index and the Reference won’t work.
I will fix that ASAP with a new release version. I will add an Excerpt mode so each customer can decide which WordPress hook should be used to look for Footnotes. The default will be the same as before 1.5.3 version.
Thank you. I’ve translated the plugin to spanish, how can I send you the .po and .mo files? If you send me the update of .pot, I can send you the .po and .mo files updated.
Wow,
that’s great!
I have created the .pot file for Translations. You can download it from the current development version.
You can send me your spanish translation via e-mail: [email protected].Are your Footnotes still counted twice or is the bug already fixed in the new stable version?
Hi Stefan,
Thank you so much for fixing it so quickly! This is a wonderful plug in and just the thing I have been looking for some of the content on my site.
BTW – can you add something in the next update that allows you to adjust the width of the Mouse-over box. At present it stretches to the edge of the browser, would be nice to be able to set the width from within the plug in.
Thanks!
Mas
Hi majhul,
thanks for your answer. Nice to hear that the issue is fixed.
Many thanks for your feature request. We will discuss this feature and implement it in one of our next release versions.
One of the error have been fixed. The number of the notes now appear right, but the link continues being the same (always the simple link of the post, not the link to the footnote).
My computer deads yesterday. And I’ve lost the files of the translation. When I get my computer back, I’ll translate again the plugin and I’ll send you the files.
Thank you for your excelent plugin!
Hi Pablo,
the links should now work correctly. Either jump down to the reference container or jump to the footnote index in the post content.
I have also added the .pot file to the source code for translations.
If the links work as the should, please mark this topic as resolved.
Perfect! Good work! Thank you!!!
