I’m afraid, at the moment, there isn’t any such setting within the plugin side to reset it to 0. What you notice is the expected behaviour; it’ll require custom coding to change the behaviour with the ID numbering.
I’m afraid providing the custom code will be outside the scope of support. For that, you’ll need to hire a developer to provide the required custom code for you. WordPress provides a jobs directory here https://jobs.wordpress.net/
