Hi Kassy,
Please try to create a WordPress user (you can use the same email). Then from Affiliates->Manage Affiliate, edit your affiliate, and set this affiliate as ‘Accepted’ and set the username of the WordPress user.
When you want to create manually an affiliate which can enter to the affiliate-area, the process is:
1- Create a WordPress user.
2- Create an affiliate from Affiliates->Manage Affiliate and set the username used before.
Then this affiliate created manually can enter to the affiliates-area page and see his custom data.
Kind Regards,
Antonio B.
Hi Antonio
Thanks for your reply.
I have the affiliate set up and he is ‘active’ in the manage affiliates section on wp. (I don’t have the option of ‘accepted’.
However, the affiliate cannot log in to the affiliates area page, because the system did not send him a password when his account was created.
We’ve tried getting the system to resend the password, but the email never arrives. (we’ve checked the spam folder but it’s not there either).
Why does the reset password email not get generated?
Thanks,
Kassy
Sorry, it was ‘active’.
Please check if this user exists (from Users->All Users)
If this user exists, then edit the affiliate (from Affiliates->Manage Affiliates), and set the same username.
Kind Regards,
Antonio B.
thank you, I’ve given that a go, we’ll see if it solves it.
