    Hey,
    We are having problems resseting passwords. We do receive the email with the apparently correct link, but once clicked it opens the same Lost Password page with the email form where sending the already sent email.

    Any ideas?

    @lsanchezfidelis,

    It looks like the form is redirecting from the intended URL which allows LifterLMS to actually reset the password to a URL that has a different query string parameter than what’s expected by LifterLMS.

    If you look at the actual link sent through in your email it’s something like:

    http://your-site.com/mi-cuenta/lost-password/?key={keystring}&login={userlogin}

    Those query parameter (key & login) are used to determine who we’re resetting the password for.

    On your site if I grab the real reset URL (I created a test user since you have open reg) the url comes through in the email correctly but when I open the link it redirects and removes the query parameters and it ends up looking something like:

    http://your-site.com/mi-cuenta/lost-password/?show-reset-form=true

    This parameter “show-reset-form” is not found anywhere in the LifterLMS code base so I’m not sure why that’s happening…

    Is there anything in your .htaccess file that could be causing these redirects?

    Can you disable plugins on your site to see if there’s another plugin causing this?

    Can your try resetting a password on the twentyseventeen theme and see if that helps?

    I’m sorry I don’t have a solution for you here. Everything appears to be working in LifterLMS core so it looks like a conflict of some sort.

    @thomasplevy,

    Following your suggestions, I started with deactivating WooComerce plug-in as We don’t use it and that solved the problem.
