Hi @samanthawpaladinpos,
What version of the plugin you have installed on your site?
Have you tried to test this using another email client because your link can be removed/altered via the spam filter/ security plugin/software?
Regards.
I updated to the latest version of WordPress (5.0.3) and the Latest Version of Ultimate Member (2.0.38)
I tried on multiple different email clients with multiple different accounts. I am getting the same issue.
Thanks,
Sam
I am getting this as well. WordPress 5.0.3 and UM 2.0.38. Tough to add members when they can’t create a password. Using gmail as an email client with no option of using another email provider.
Same here. I have the paid version and uses can’t reset their password. Everything is up to date and works other than this.
FIXED: It was a cookie issue for me.
I went into my hosting account on Cloudways to the Varnish settings and added the following code:
wp-resetpass-*
That did it. Hope that helps.
i have the same problem!!! How i can fix it?

Hi,
I’m having the exact same problem. I’ve tried all the solutions I’ve seen on other boards:
– check HTML is enabled for emails
– update Ultimate Member
– check the PHP file for the password reset email has been installed in my theme (it hadn’t, so I edited the email template in the plugin and the file then appeared, so I’m assuming I’ve done this)
Users are still having the same problem. I’m using Version 2.0.43 (free version). Any other suggestions?
Hi @ultimatemembersupport – any ideas? This is issue is still affecting all users resetting passwords on my site, who are using different email clients and browsers. I really don’t have time to manually generate new passwords when they’re needed.
Hello,
I have also facing the same problem. I have updated this plugin to 2.0.44, but still same issue occurs.
Has anyone found a solution for this issue. I have tried all the solutions mentioned and still users trying to reset passwords get “Your password reset link appears to be invalid. Please request a new link below”.
Very frustrating.
Thanks
Nothing yet. UM Support doesn’t seem interested in fixing it either.
I can confirm the problem is still there. Our Users are not able to reset their passwords. The reset link always appears to be invalid. We run latest WordPress v5.2.2 and UltimateMember v2.0.54. This needs to be addressed.
I’m having exactly the same problem. All updates are current. Happening from multiple clients. Urgent problem.
Thanks
Russell
Exact same problem here, every time a user tries to reset the password the link is invalid causing a neverending loop.
Fixed! Had our host (wpengine) remove all of the Ultimate member pages from being cached.

Same problem, and only occurs to one user. We are using all the latest versions (WordPress & UM)
