    My client forgot her password to access my course in LifterLMS/. I tried doing the same actions as she with my password and I had the same problem.

    I took the following actions:

    I go to the sign-in area where. I then click the Lost Password link.

    It then directs me to this page:

    https://liveatransformativelife.com/dashboard/lost-password/

    I then type in my email address of the one I have registered for the course.

    When I hit enter, the same page reloads and I do not get an email.

    So, I do not get a new page where I can enter the reset password. My client is having the same issue.

    Now, I am also getting a page that indicates I have been locked out.

    Help please; I need my client to access her course.

  • Hi,
    I do not think LifterLMS has the feature to lockout any users. That might be the security system you’re using.

    If you have a security plugin, please disable that and see if the lockout is removed. If you have a caching plugin, you might also need to clear the cache for the change to take effect.

    Now, all WordPress plugins or the WordPress system send a password reset link via email. So, you need to see if you have received any email about the password reset link. If not, check the spam and other possible folders.

    If you have not received any email, you need to check if the email system in your hosting is configured correctly. To do that, you can install a plugin called “email log” and see if the emails are getting fired or not and if they are sent out correctly.

    If the emails are not being triggered at all after requesting one more time to reset the password, then you will have the whole diagnostic report in your hand and you will know from where to start solving the problem 🙂
