You said “for too big images”, for which size exactly?
So, it mens that for small images resized, you still have the exif info, isn’t?
If ticked the option “Redimensionner les images trop grandes” which is for this case 2048px. All images bigger than 2048px uploaded by users are resized, and loose their exif. Smaller images are not resized.
Any new about it please ? I have upgraded to 1.5.9 but issue is still there, apparently.

If your website is using the GD library, the issue can’t be fixed. On the 1.5.9, the issue is fixed for website which uses Imagick library
