Resize Header

    I can’t change my header height. I’ve looked at other questions and tried the following:
    -Appearance > Customize — I’ve gone in “Header” “Page Header” and “More CSS”
    I can change the layout there, the picture, change to “mininmal,” etc. But there is nothing about size or height. No % or pt, etc.
    In the CSS, I have searched for “header” and the only reference has h4 for layout of the text within the header and a color. No other attributes.
    Help!
    I have the Sober theme and Kirki customizing add-on, if that matters.

    I still want the picture and text as is, but I don’t want the picture to be so tall. I would like it to only take up the top third of my screen instead of nearly the whole thing. So it would be just as wise, but not so tall.

    When I add a picture, it automatically fits it into that space. It doesn’t display the whole picture but rather crops to the space, which is fine. I say that because to me, it seems it’s the format, not the picture size that’s making all the headers so large.
