Resize images before upload

    Hello,
    I am currently building a website for a client, who aims to upload a lot of photos. To make everything simple as possible, he wants the images to be uploaded on the fly before the actual upload takes place.

    I’ve been searching the internet and tried plugins like “Resize before upload” or “Client Side Image Resize”. These plugins work fine with the standard uploader, but unfortunately not with NextGen Gallery.

    Do you know a workaround for this?

    @mani04 – Although we always recommend optimizing image for the website before uploading them there is an option to resize on upload under Gallery > Other Options > Image Options … Automatically resize images after upload

    This should do what you are describing.
