• I’m using a slider on a theme’s home page and when the page loads at fullscreen the slider loads and displays fine. However if the page changes from fullscreen to any other resolution the slider stops showing content. Refreshing the page fixes this, it’s just any resolution change breaks the slider.

I’m new to wordpress so I’m not sure if this is an easy fix or not or if it is a problem with the theme.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

This is certainly not something I’ve noticed before – resizing screen has never been an issue for .

It could be a clash with your theme or another plugin causing this issue. Have you tried temporarily activating another theme (e.g. TwentySeventeen theme) to check whether the theme is actually the problem.

If you have no joy, then try disabling all plugins, to see if its a plugin clash, then activate plugins one-by-one to identify the exact plugin clashing.

Also within you slider settings, try ticking the “Use window.onload event”, under ‘Other Settings’ (right-hand sidebar).

Also, are you getting any JavaScript errors when viewing the page (press CTRL+SHIFT+J keys together to bring up the JavaScript console)

Yea I assumed it would be a theme issue since it seems to be an unheard of error. The theme wasn’t developed by me so I’m unsure what could be causing this. No js errors or anything like that, and I’ve also been told that it doesn’t show up correctly on mobile which makes me think it could be a styling error within the theme. I also wasn’t able to find the “Use window.onload event”, the website I’m on is running 2.1.5 so that maybe why?
