Why there so noption to resolve all issues? There is 140 pages of issues, and I have to go one by one to remove it all? At least give us option to display more issues per pagination.

    Hi @forusak

I hope you are doing well.

Trying to mass fix the security issue is not suggested, we always need to double-check if it can be removed/reverted.

You can though apply some bulk updates: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/defender/#issues-malware-scanning however I understand it does have the pagination.

Is the issue on core files?

If so, a better approach is to reinstall the WordPress core https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/how-to-reinstall-wordpress and then run a new scan, it will decrease the number of files you need to handle.

There is thousands of infected files (only 1600 detected by your plugin, 4000+ by others), which I need delete, there is no point in doing it carefully, they all need to go away. That is what wp-vcd malware does.

It is everywhere, plugins, themes, core folders… reinstalling doesn’t help.

    Hi

We have had some requests in the past about this feature, but we are considering not adding this to Defender.
It’s mostly that it’s dangerous to bulk delete files. It can crash sites pretty easily if the user accidentally deletes a file that’s needed to run something. We do that for users security.

    Kind Regards,

I understand, but you always can hide it behind some “only for advanced” checkbox and do not show it otherwise. But alright.
