[RESOLVED] Automatic emails not being sent

I know a lot of people struggle with this so I thought I would share what worked for me.

I am using Dreamhost. My test messages were being sent, and I could manually send batches, but auto send just would not work, until I dropped the number per hour from the recommended 70 down to 20, on both the ‘send with’ and ‘MS’ tabs.

I have used this number on a self-hosted site with my employer as well and have not had any trouble.

My cron is running every 10 minutes.

I may throttle that back to only run from 12am to 4am eventually.

Hopefully this will help someone out there get back to writing.
