    How is it that a post gets marked resolved when it is NOT resolved.

    And shouldn’t the author of the post determine if the issue is resolved, and be the only one to mark it resolved or not.

    Isee many posts that say resolved, but when you go into the post the original poster did not resolve the case.

    the original poster is the only one who can mark something as resolved

    what you find is the op resolves it – then other folks pile on with their problems instead of starting a new thread
