Responsive?

You are correct on the tables. We are working on a newer version with Mobile integration but its a ways out.

Unless your sold on the responsive aspects of your current theme I would suggest using something like WPtouch Pro

It also has additional features for advanced marketing on smartphones and tablets that your theme is not capable of.

A site that does a good job with this is a recruiting firm
Check it out on a smartphone and tablet.

Additionally, if you need to add css – job-manager/css/display is where you want to copy to your child theme css and then modify accordingly.
