Some of the gallery types behave responsively. Thumbnails (for thumbnail galleries and compact albums) will wrap based on screen/content area size, and flash slideshows will resize. Basic slideshows don’t currently resize in the active version of NextGEN, but they do will in the next major update we’re preparing. Hope that helps.
