It seems this has nothing to do with Ad Inserter.
The code is properly inserted.
The ad is displayed this way very likely because the ad code is not able to detect other elements at the ad position that limit available width (rating element).
Try to set available width with custom CSS:
margin: 8px 0px; width: 300px;
Thank you! I wasn’t sure if the issue was with Ad Inserter or AdSense. I posted this problem on Google’s forums, but they’re ignoring me. Hopefully I can get it resolved through CSS. I switched to a non-responsive ad unit in the meantime. Should I add the CSS to the rating element? I appreciate you going out of your way to help me with this.
CSS of rating element is irelevant. You need to set the width of the space for ad block.
Isn’t changing the CSS of ads against Google TOS though?
Why would you like to change CSS of ads?
To set the width for the ad block.
You don’t have to.
Set the width of the container element.
Ah okay, that makes sense. It seems like this is something Google should fix though. No sense in choosing a responsive ad, if I’m just going to limit the width of it anyways.
my desktop view is ok but my banner ads overlap on my mobile/tablet version of the website. I use the responsive theme..my website is http://www.kinkysexroom.com. any help would be greatly appreciated.
